"forgiveness" was released as a four-track CD single August 20th, 2003. I knew from the moment I saw it that I would love it; the jacket art embodies everything I think of when I think of Ayu: something bold, unique, and absolutely gorgeous. The song itself is a breathtaking ballad accompanied by an orchestra and chorus. The lyrics -- which, as always, are penned by Ayu herself -- are touching and sincere, and the music is one of last pieces composed by CREA (Ayu) and DAI--a fitting farewell. The song was later included on the Memorial address album, which also includes the music video. A complete list of CDs and DVDs featuring this song can be found in the relevant discography.
